Inspirational Classroom Prints Freebies

School may be back in full swing, but I am still adding little touches to my kindergarten classroom. I have a new obsession with subway art, prints of inspirational quotes, and brightly colored photo frames.

I created these two prints to frame and add a personal touch to my classroom. The first one reminds me that even on the roughest of days, my life is filled to the brim with blessings and I have so much to be thankful for. You can download this "Too Many Blessings to Count!" print for free.

The second print was created for my classroom prayer space. I teach in a Catholic school so prayer is a part of our daily routine. If you teach in a christian school, or just want a copy of this for your home, it is a sweet reminder of God's love for the young students that we teach. This print is also a free download.

Stop by the Kinder-Craze blog to grab these two free printables and see more personal touches in my kindergarten classroom.

Tens Frame Playdoh Mats

I recently posted on my own blog about what I learned in Kindergarten. For the first two weeks of school all kindergarten teachers have an extra adult in their classroom. That extra adult is either a reading para, pre-school para, or a pre-school teacher. Our pre-school students start school two weeks later.

To find out what I learned in Kindergarten this year, head over to my blog by clicking {here}.

Sight Words

Hey Freebielicious Followers!

We are six weeks into our school year so I'm talking all about sight words on my blog tonight.  I think I talked about boats, as well, but the gist is all about sight words.

I shared this note for parents so that they have some good ideas on how to practice sight words with their children:

Monthly Calendars {number practice}

Each month, my students practice tracing and writing their numbers with these cute monthly calendars.

This is a great way to reinforce number formation, number order and how numbers represent days.
You can also incorporate patterns into the lesson by having your students follow a specific pattern when tracing the numbers.

You can fold a large piece of construction paper {9”x12”} in half and glue the calendar to the bottom half. Decorate the top half with a fun seasonal art project or hand print art!

Each month has a traceable calendar and a blank calendar to fit the needs of your class!

You can download these calendars in my TpT store! Please let me know what you think!
